How we make our living greatly influences where and how we will live.  What we do for work often dictates how often we relocate. 

Housing keeps evolving and it’s fun to watch it happen.  People are more and more focused on building greener - using recycled and sustainable building products including solar energy.  It makes good sense to try and save money while being easier on our environment with the population of the planet growing.

I received an email recently depicting this very interesting home in New Braunfels, TX.  It was created from a 1940′s silo and then turned into a boutique Texas inn.  I was struck one more time by how very clever people are and what they can create with some elbow grease and imagination.

I “googled” the New Braunfels, TX silo and found the Gruene Homestead Inn.  What a fun place!
