Multi-Basking in Chile July 14, 2010
Could this be multi-basking?
We’ve all heard about multi-tasking but what about multi-basking? I thought I made the word up but found out when I Googled it that it wasn’t brand new. It’s a term I would use to describe doing a few pleasurable things at once.
I searched my photos from Chile (taken during my trip there this past January) to depict multi-basking – a young woman meditating on the beach soaking up the sun and enjoying the sounds of the surf. Heaven!
My LinkedIn Sunday Question this week was about multi-basking. I’ve enjoyed the responses and was moved to actually start this photo-blog of sorts on my website. I hope you’ll check back to see where my Nikon takes me.

Multi-basking? Well, I probably wouldn’t pick a beach unless it was a cool day. (I sunburn easily and am not crazy about temps over 80.) But a shady spot by the shore or a comfy bench near a woodland trail would suit me. Someplace I can sit down and relax with a book and maybe a drink (hot or cold, depending on the weather and my mood). When I’ve read for a while, I’ll take a stroll to the next bench or shady spot.
Hope there’s a good meal at the end of this trail!
Multibasking – that is too cute!
I am doing that in Chile now….checking out the awe inspiring Andes mountain, snacking and creating.
Very fun, Mary.

Shonika, you have the most interesting of lives. I can’t WAIT to hear all about your time there. Are you making any headway on the filmmaking idea? Thanks for stopping by. See you on Twitter. @ReloMary @ReddingRelo
Whoopsie – I never responded to you.

i think it probably takes interesting life to another level, jejeje
besitos.
What a great timeline! And what a wonderful way to keep track of the goings on in your life, Shonika. There’s a lot to keep track of. Seems you are multi-tasking a LOT – and I hope you find days to just multi-BASK along the way. Power on, Ms. Proctor. You’re a delight to know.
