Auto Transport – Call ReloMary August 18, 2010

Auto transport help is right here!
If you are looking online for reliable
vehicle shipping, how do you know
who will do the job well? We’d be
happy to talk with you to assist you
with the shipment of your vehicle(s).
That’s part of what we do in helping
people get from A to Z when selling,
buying, and moving households.

Cost is often the #1 consideration, but how often does cheap end up a nightmare? Realize that when you go for the rock bottom price, something’s got to give as everyone needs to make a living no matter what the economy.  That’s just a fact of life.  When you think about it – if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. We’re sure you’d love to get your car delivered in good condition and in a timely fashion.  Our recommendation is you go for value – which may mean paying slightly more to get the good service you’ll want.  In the end, it pencils out as less costly.

Q & A about auto shipping impacting cost:
1.  How far will your car be shipped?
2.  Will you ship between remote areas or large hubs?
3.  Will you drop off the car at a terminal or will the auto shipper pick it up for you?
4.  Is your car in working order or will it need a tow?
5.  How large is your car?  What is the weight?
6.  Will you get insurance from the shipper or will your own insurance cover?
7.  What make, model and year is your car?
8.  Will you prefer an open or closed carrier?

Remove personal effects and take photos of your auto prior to shipping.  I personally have shipped a couple cars sold via EBay with good success.  I have removed everything from the car that was personal (CD’s, cell phone charger, whatever it might be…we all leave things in our vehicles we don’t even know are LEFT there!)  I’ve taken photos of the condition of the car prior to it being loaded to compare it to how it is received at the other end.  Have that record for your own protection.  Though things usually go smoothly, if something happens you’ll have documentation of the before/after and you’ll have covered yourself with insurance in case something does happen.

We welcome your auto transport experiences and questions in the comment section below.  We’ll call in the experts where needed.  Our car transporting network will be called upon.
