MOVING LINKS 4 YOU

Clean your closet by clearing it out prior to moving. What an opportunity to go through and see what is there and get tough with yourself regarding those things you “might wear one day” but haven’t worn in 5 years!  Think about it!

Moving is a great idea every five years if, for no other reason. it prompts you to go through all the items we accumulate in that length of time.

These shoes are just a portion of what I recently pulled out of my closet and took to Goodwill.  We’ve been here 5 years and have no intention of moving in the near future but I will tell you this…I learned from our last move that it’s essential to go through our things periodically to have a good clean out.

I do not want to be stuck, as we were last time when moving, with two truckloads worth of things to transport.  What a nightmare it was to pack up and move – and then to unpack again just to have some of it sit there unattended again.

Rummage sales (aka jumble sales) are also great events to have prior to moving.  Between giving things away to charitable organizations or having a rummage sale prior to moving, these are good ways to unload some weight and give you peace of mind.
